21st Dec 2012 is said to be a day where the world could possibly end due to some astrological event. There's been much debate and controvesy on it. It's truly intriguing because it revolves around science and superstition. Anyway I just found this quite interesting. Do some research on it and you will get what I mean.

Anyway I just watched a documentary regarding crude oil. It really sets me thinking and the producer seems to be so biased against the Americans. In the video, it mentioned that if every US household were to change a light bulb to a flourescent one, it would eliminate 10 billion pounds of carbon dioxide emissions in a year. This is the equivalent of taking 1 million cars of the road. In short, it's been said that Americans' way of life have to change because their usage of crude oil is extremely high and it is totally unnecessary. How true to all this I am not really sure. But what I am sure is every individual effort counts and there are choices where individuals can make.
